About Sarathena Jewellery

At SARATHENA Jewellery, every design begins with a natural gemstone and a unique story. Each piece is handmade in the UK using cruelty-free methods, sustainable packaging, and authentic gemstones and fossils. No two designs are ever the same — every stone has its own character, and that’s what makes it special.

Behind the brand is Sarah — a self-taught jewellery maker with a life long love for craft and design. Always exploring new techniques and gemstones, she spends time carefully sourcing quality materials that inspire her work. From electroplated leaves, to sterling silver pendants, or historic fossils, there is something for any occasion.  Each creation reflects this journey: handmade with intention, inspired by nature, and designed to be worn as a one-of-a-kind memory.

This is a gorgeous pendant, very pleased with it. My only suggestion would be to add a clasp to the chain as it is slightly to long (for me - but may be perfect for taller people!)

Who do you ship with?

We mainly use EVRI and Royal Mail Tracked, depending on which service is available in your area and offers the quickest shipping times.

If our preferred postal service isn't available in your region, we may use an alternative such as DPD or DHL.

Our full shipping policy including cost, free shipping, and estimated delivery times can be seen on the shipping policy here.

Is VAT/tax, duties, or import fees included in the price?

At the moment, NO.

UK customers benefit from not having to pay VAT for their orders.

For international customers, we do not collect any VAT, taxes, or import fees. We do not use the IOSS postage system.

If you are subject to VAT, taxes, or import fees, you will be notified (normally directly via the postal courier) or sometimes via your local customs, to pay the appropriate tax or import fees before they release the order and deliver it to you.

Please review your local government website to see the tax rates in your country, as well as any import fees from the UK, for jewellery items.

What necklace materials do you use?

We offer three main options:

Black cord, brown cord, gunmetal chain.

The cord (plant based) is adjustable and you may choose either, a smaller version (14" to 28") or larger version (16" to 32").

The chain comes as a fixed sizes, you may choose from 14" to 32".

How accurate are the gemstones colour in the pictures?

We try to take pictures in both brighter lighting and in natural lighting so that the colour of each pendant is as accurately portrayed as possible.

Please note, due to the differences in brightness and colour settings between laptops, phones, and computers, the colour of the pendant may appear slightly differently in person.

Can I make a custom order?

If you need help with your order or wanted to customise it (using faster shipping, making a necklace size larger than 32") feel free to contact us here before creating the order. We will try our best to accommodate any custom requirements.

We occasionally offer various discounts throughout the year, as well as for new customers (WELCOME7), and directly on the products themselves.
